As the school evolves, so do the testing requirements. Changes to the testing requirements for Jamila Level 2, Suhaila Level 3 and Jamila Level 3 are posted and highlighted in this blog.  These changes were implemented to better guide and focus dancers on the necessary content for testing, while allowing dancers more freedom and time to work through the material.  Rather than testers undergoing all the testing at weeklongs, the pre-testing requirements help long-distance dancers prepare and check-in with L5 instructors for feedback.  Please see below for more information, and all up-to-date certification information is available on the certification page here.

Suhaila Level 3:

To be accepted into the SL3 Testing Chute, you must complete the following and be signed off with approval by a SL5 instructor before you begin your SL3 Testing Packet.

Technique Drills

The Drill section must be filmed in a space with lighting bright enough for clear video evaluation of the required SL3 technique.  The Drills will be done solo and to the loop song “Stamina”.  Each drill must be verbally called out by the dancer and executed for 60 seconds.  A total of 45 drills.
